Who We Serve
Equitable access to safe, healthy, pasteurized human donor milk
Mothers’ Milk Bank serves babies, families, and healthcare providers across the United States. Though most of our recipients are premature infants in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs), we provide safe, pasteurized human donor milk for any of the following scenarios:
- Babies who
- are adopted, foster, surrogate, or premature
- have low birth-weight
- are formula intolerant
- have immunological deficiencies
- need post-operation nutrition
- are born to gender-diverse parents.
- have passed away
- are absent from the baby’s care
- have insufficient lactation
- have an illness or health risk that requires interruption or supplementation in feedings.
We recognize that all babies and families have diverse short-term and long-term needs, and that is why we provide a variety of options to ensure peace of mind for everyone involved in the baby’s care.
